Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by Nationwide Tree Surgeons (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting a quote, booking our services, or allowing work to commence, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Nationwide Tree Surgeons provide professional tree surgery and related services, including but not limited to tree pruning, tree removal, hedgework, vegetation and forestry services, site clearances, firewood supply, and emergency tree services.

All services are carried out in accordance with industry standards and applicable health and safety regulations.

​

2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are provided based on the information available at the time of assessment. Quotes may be subject to change if site conditions, access, scope of work, or customer requirements differ from those originally agreed.

Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for a limited period and include labour, equipment, and waste removal as specified.

3. Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings are confirmed once accepted by both parties. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you provide reasonable notice.

Nationwide Tree Surgeons reserve the right to cancel or reschedule work due to unsafe weather conditions, access issues, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our control.

4. Access and Site Conditions

You are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to the work area, including permission to enter the property and remove arisings where required.

​

Any underground services, private utilities, fragile surfaces, or hidden hazards should be disclosed prior to work commencing. We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by undisclosed or hidden services.

5. Permissions and Legal Compliance

It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us if a tree is subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or located within a conservation area.

​

Where permission is required from a local authority, work will not commence until the appropriate consent has been obtained.

​

6. Health and Safety

All work is carried out with safety as a priority. For safety reasons, customers and third parties must remain clear of the work area while operations are underway.

Nationwide Tree Surgeons reserve the right to stop or alter work if conditions become unsafe.

​

7. Waste and Materials

Unless agreed otherwise, all arisings and waste generated by our work will be removed from site.

Firewood or timber left on site at the customer’s request becomes the responsibility of the customer once work is completed.

8. Emergency Services

Emergency call-outs are provided to make sites safe and address immediate risks. Full removal or remedial work may be scheduled separately depending on conditions and access.

 

9. Liability

We carry appropriate insurance for the services we provide. Our liability is limited to the extent of our insurance cover.

Nationwide Tree Surgeons are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing defects, hidden hazards, extreme weather conditions, or factors outside our reasonable control.

10. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be agreed prior to work commencing. Invoices are payable within the agreed timeframe.

Late payments may result in additional charges or suspension of further services.

11. Photographs and Marketing

We may take photographs of work carried out for records or assessment. Images used for marketing purposes will only be published with customer consent.

12. Complaints

If you have any concerns about the services provided, please contact us as soon as possible so we can address the issue promptly and fairly.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website with the effective date updated.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
